Project Activ­i­ties

At the heart of Inclu­sive Cities lies a pro­gramme of inter­con­nected activ­i­ties designed to cre­ate struc­tured oppor­tu­ni­ties for knowl­edge exchange, joint learn­ing, and col­lab­o­ra­tive reflec­tion across dif­fer­ent aca­d­e­mic and urban con­texts. From inten­sive work­shops and aca­d­e­mic exchanges to joint course devel­op­ment and dis­sem­i­na­tion, each activ­ity is designed to push the bound­aries of how we think about, teach and prac­tice inclu­sive urbanism.

The activ­i­ties unfold across inter­con­nected over­lap­ping phases: begin­ning with ped­a­gog­i­cal staff train­ing and joint devel­op­ment of rel­e­vant courses, mov­ing through a series of the­matic, prac­tice-ori­ented work­shops, “Com­mu­nity Parti­cipation in Con­text”, that bring part­ners together in dif­fer­ent cities and con­texts, and cul­mi­nat­ing in the pub­li­ca­tion of shared reflec­tions and a joint sym­po­sium. Along the way, var­i­ous oppor­tu­ni­ties for staff exchange, aca­d­e­mic stays and teach­ing mobil­ity ensure that knowl­edge flows freely between insti­tu­tions — and that the peo­ple involved grow along­side the project.
