The extended stay offered valuable opportunities for academic exchange and collaboration. Building on the pedagogical training received during the kick-off, the participant engaged in in-depth discussions with Bauhaus-Universität Weimar staff on the joint course currently in development – exploring its content, structure, and roadmap together.
Beyond these working sessions, the stay allowed for active participation in academic life at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. A particular highlight was the integration into the Faculty’s Excursion Week, which included field visits and discussions in Erfurt with Bauhaus-Universität Weimar faculty, international students, and local stakeholders. These encounters offered fresh perspectives and practical insights directly relevant to the themes of the Inclusive Cities project.
The participant was also invited to attend cultural and academic events at the university and in the city, further enriching the exchange and fostering connections across institutions and disciplines.
This activity was coordinated by the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar project team in close collaboration with Notre Dame University-Louaize, with the shared goal of strengthening the foundations for the joint course development ahead.
